The sports judge has decided to hand the Rondinelle, who due to new cases of COVID-19 in the team group, didn’t show up at the Castellani for the match against the Tuscans.
Empoli consequently advance with a 3-0 win over the table and will play Gennaro Gattuso’s men in the next round.

“The Sports Judge noted that the referee report shows the match was not played due to the absence of Brescia Calcio,” the press release reads.
“With regard to Article 10 and Article 55, the judge sanction Brescia with a 3-0 defeat.”
