Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti was moved to tears during the minute’s silence for Diego Armando Maradona, having faced him many times in Serie A.
The former Roma and Milan midfielder had his Serie A heyday during Maradona’s years of domination at Napoli, so the pair clashed regularly for the Scudetto.
Maradona passed away on Wednesday at the age of 60 at his home in Buenos Aires following years of health problems.
During the minute’s silence ahead of today’s Premier League match between Everton and Leeds United, Ancelotti could not hold back the tears at this tribute to his friend and colleague.
