Inter remain interested in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud and Tuttosport reveals the plan of the Nerazzurri to sign the 2018 World Cup winner.
Antonio Conte wants an centre forward who can be used as a back-up to Romelu Lukaku, Inter’s best scorer.
As per Tuttosport, Giroud remains among Inter targets together with Arkadiusz Milik who will see his Napoli contract expire at the end of the season but will leave the Partenopei in January.
The Serie A giants reportedly want to sign Giroud on loan for six months with option to buy.
The same formula they used one year ago to sign Ashley Young from Manchester United.
Giroud, 34, said last week he is open to leaving Chelsea in the winter transfer window although the Blues’ boss Frack Lampard doesn’t want to let the experienced striker leave Stamford Bridge in the middle of the season.
Giroud, a 2018 World Cup winner, has two goals in nine appearances in all competitions with Chelsea so far this season.
