Milan players train on day off

According to Sky Sport, Milan players showed up at Milanello today to train on their day off.

The Rossoneri beat Fiorentina 2-0 yesterday and are the Serie A table leaders.

Despite a day off given by their coach Stefano Pioli, most of Milan players showed up at Milanello to train today, reports Sky Sport.

Only injured players were supposed to go to Milanello to undergo therapies but also many player who has played yesterday arrived at Milan’s training ground today, including the Rossoneri captain Alessio Romagnoli.

The Diavoli are enjoying a five-point lead over second-placed Inter and Sassuolo and are the most in-form team in Europe so far.

Milan president Paolo Scaroni has said he didn’t expect the Rossoneri to be Scudetto contenders this season.
