Umberto Calcagno has been appointed the new President of the AIC. ‘This is the crowning of a dream’.
The former Sampdoria midfielder has been appointed the new chief of the Players’ Union (AIC) and has officially replaced former Roma player Damiano Tommasi at the helm.
“After having been a football and having lived many years in the Association, this is the crowning of a dream,” Calcagno told the reporters about his promotion.
Calcagno was promoted from Vice-President to President of the Players' Association.
