Cagliari sporting director Pierluigi Carta has hinted the Rossoblu will try to get Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan back to Sardinia this winter.
The former Belgium international was loaned out to Cagliari last term and the Rossoblu tried to bring him on a permanent deal during the summer.
But sporting director Carta admitted the conditions made a move impossible during the summer but doesn’t rule out that Cagliari will try again in January.
“In the summer, there were no conditions to bring Nainggolan,” Carta told Radio Sportiva. “Now, there’s a month left until January…”
Nainggolan has played four times in Serie A this term, but the 32-year-old struggles to find consistency under Antonio Conte, but has partly been stopped by several injury setbacks too.
