"I respect for my colleague. I know he’s doing a good job. Celtic have always performed well, sometimes it happens not to gain results," the Milan coach said at a press conference.

The Italian tactician returns to Milan bench after recovering from COVID.

“We expect a determined opponent, we must be a very serious team tomorrow. We have not yet achieved the qualification. The game tomorrow must be played well because Celtic can create troubles for us. We must be very prepared.”

Pioli seems to be enjoying his team’s approach to games.

“We must not stop trying to command the matches but we must also know what to do when it is time to suffer and be united.

“We have to keep being dangerous, trying to do it all the way through the game, because we have the qualities to do it.

“We know that we still have room for improvement and we must continue to work to be able to grow".
