Cristiano Ronaldo: All 750 goals

Cristiano Ronaldo thanks ‘all my loyal opponents that made me work harder every day’ after scoring his 750th career goal, as we break down how and where he netted them.

The Juventus striker was on target during this evening’s 3-0 Champions League victory over Dynamo Kiev in Turin.

“750 goals, 750 happy moments, 750 smiles in the faces of our supporters,” wrote Ronaldo on social media.

“Thank you to all the players and coaches that helped me reach this amazing number, thank you to all my loyal opponents that made me work harder and harder every day.”

Ronaldo now has 75 goals in the Juventus jersey, compared to 450 for Real Madrid, 118 at Manchester United, five for Sporting Lisbon and 102 for Portugal.

A breakdown of the goals he scored finds that 509 were from inside the area, 129 penalties, 57 free kicks and 55 from outside the box.

Ronaldo found the net 482 times with his right foot, 136 with his left, 130 headers and two ‘other’.

These 750 goals came in numerous different tournaments during Ronaldo’s career at club and international level.

There were 311 in La Liga, 132 in the Champions League, 84 in the Premier League, 60 in Serie A, 31 in Euro qualifiers, 30 in World Cup qualifiers, 22 Copa del Rey, 18 international friendlies, 13 FA Cup, nine in the European Championship, seven in the World Cup, seven in the Club World Cup, five Nations League goals, four Spanish Supercup, four Carling Cup, three Primeira Liga, two Taça Portugal, two European Supercup, two Coppa Italia, two Confederations Cup, one in the Italian Supercup and one in the Champions League preliminary round.
