Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric has confirmed midfielder Darko Lazovic has recovered from coronavirus.
The Serbian midfielder has been unavailable since the last international break but has tested negative and must undergo the required medical examinations to be back against Cagliari on Sunday.
“We are still waiting for the visits to be sure he is available,” Juric said at a press conference.
“Swabs are negative, we wait for him to complete the fitness tests. In every game we have at least eight players unavailable and we have always achieved results.”
Verona sit seventh in Serie A after nine games and bounced back from a winless run of three games with a 2-0 triumph over Atalanta last time.
The Gialloblu crashed out of the Coppa Italia against Cagliari last month, when the Rossoblu won 2-1 at the Sardegna Arena.
