Milan: Kjaer suffers muscle injury

Milan defender Simon Kjaer suffered a first-degree injury in the right thigh and must undergo new tests next week to determine the extent of the damage.

The Rossoneri defender suffered a muscle injury in the first half of the 4-2 win over Celtic in the Europa League.

The Dane was replaced by Alessio Romagnoli and the club has confirmed Kjaer has suffered a first-degree muscle injury in the right thigh.

Coach Stefano Pioli hopes to have the influential defender back in short time, as the defender has been subjected to new tests in seven days, to assess the evolution of his conditions.
