Napoli’s Europa League opponents AZ Alkmaar have suddenly sacked coach Arne Slot, just days before the decisive final group games.
Napoli drew 1-1 away to AZ on Thursday evening, meaning qualification for the Round of 32 all goes down to the wire.
The Italians top the group with 10 points, followed by Real Sociedad and AZ Alkmaar on eight each.
The final games on December 10 are Napoli-Sociedad and Rijeka-AZ.

This was a reaction to rumours Slot was being lined up to replace Dick Advocaat at Feyenoord next season.
The club confirmed Pascal Jansen, who was Slot's assistant, will see out the rest of the campaign.
