Brescia have officially appointed Davide Dionigi as their new head coach, to replace sacked Diego Lopez.

Dionigi becomes the Rondinelle’s third coach this season and takes over the side at 12th place in Serie B.

Patron Massimo Cellino announced the appointment through a statement on the club’s website.

“Brescia Calcio announce that the technical leadership of the first team has been entrusted to Davide Dionigi,” the club wrote.

“The coach from Emilia will have Lorenzo Sibilano as deputy and will be assisted by the athletic coach Paolo ARtico and the match analyst Hiroshi Komatsuzaki.

Daniele Gastaldello has been confirmed as technical collaborator after having stepped in as interim coach in the 2-2 draw with Cremonese.
