Perisic to leave Inter in January?

Ivan Perisic reportedly struggles to convince Inter coach Antonio Conte and could be on his way out the door in January.

The Croatia international returned to the Nerazzurri after a season on loan with Bayern Munich, helping Die Roten to the Treble last season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the winger, who has been mostly used at the left in a midfield five since his return, has not convinced Conte after his return to the club.

The newspaper claims the Inter coach has been disappointed by the performances and the personality of the 31-year-old.

And Inter are therefore ready to listen to offers for the Champions League winner in January.

Perisic has played 11 times in Serie A this term, scoring once and contributing three assists in the process.

He first arrived in August 2015, when Inter signed the winger from VfL Wolfsburg and spent 2019-20 on loan with the German champions Bayern.

Perisic impressed at Bayern, with eight goals and 10 assists in 35 competitive games, helping the side pick up the Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal and the Champions League in a highly successful year for Hansi Flick’s side.
