Matteo Gabbia will reportedly miss a month of action with a knee injury while Ismael Bennacer will remain on the sidelines for at least 10 days.

Both the defender and the midfielder picked up injuries in Milan’s 2-2 draw against Parma on Sunday.

Gabbia was subbed off after only four minutes, while Bennacer was forced out of the pitch in the second half.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport, both players sustained medical examinations today.

The Italian defender is reported to have picked up a collateral ligament strain which will force him out of action for at least one month.

He will undergo further tests tomorrow as there is a worry that a fragment of the meniscus was also involved.

Bennacer could reportedly miss ten days of action as the Algeria international sustained a biceps femoris injury.
