La Gazzetta dello Sport reports former Italy star Gigi Riva was treated by doctors after a fall, but the Cagliari legend's conditions are not worrying.
The former Italy international, who helped the Azzurri win their only European Championship in 1968 before leading Cagliari to the Scudetto in 1969-70, fell in his home in the Sardinian capital last night.
Riva was promptly treated thanks to the quick invervention of the doctors and the report reveals he is doing well.
The Rossoblu legend preferred to stay at home and was not taken to hospital. The report claims his conditions were not worrying.
The honorary President’s son, Nicola, said: “It was only a scare.”
