Milan step up their interest in Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic, reportedly hoping to carve out a deal similar to the one for Brahim Diaz.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Rossoneri are in touch with the Serbian forward’s representatives but haven’t contacted Los Blancos yet.
But the newspaper claims Milan will try to set up a loan deal with the idea of discussing a possible permanent move later on.
The 23-year-old moved to Real Madrid ahead of 2019-20 for a reported €63m but has struggled to convince in the Spanish capital.
Jovic, who impressed during his two seasons with Eintracht Frankfurt, signed a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2025.
