Roma director Morgan De Sanctis was operated in the last hours at the Gemelli hospital and reports reveal he is conscious, and his situation is under control.
TMW reports De Sanctis, who suffered multiple fractures to the ribs and back, was subjected to investigations and immediately underwent surgery to remove a spleen and the post-traumatic haemorrhage evacuated.
The surgery was successful, and the post-operative course continues without complications. De Sanctis is conscious and his situation is under control. The former player will be monitored over the next 24 hours.
