Hakan Calhanoglu’s agent Gordon Stipic is expected to return to Milan next week to continue contract extension talks with the Rossoneri.
The contract of the Turkey international expires at the end of the season and the two parties have not reached an agreement yet. According to Sky Sport, Stipic will return to Milan next week to resume negotiations.
According to the report, there is still a big gap between Milan’s offer and the agent’s request.
The Serie A table leaders offer a new €3.5m-a-year deal wile the agent of the Turkey international wants a €7m-a-year contract.
A new meeting is expected to take place next week while the 26-year-old will miss Milan’s Serie A clash against Torino on Saturday with an ankle injury.
Calhanoglu has six goals and nine assists in 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
