Roberto D’Aversa admits Parma need new signings in January, but believes the Gialloblu played on a par with Lazio for 60 minutes.
D’Aversa returned to Parma earlier this week to replace Fabio Liverni, but he lost on his debut against Lazio.
“The performance was good, we played on a par with Lazio for 60 minutes,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“The regret is for having conceded a goal for lack of malice, we should have done better, young people do make mistakes and you pay a hight price for that.
“We created important goal scoring opportunities, but I can’t blame the guys in terms of commitment.”
D’Aversa believes the Ducali need new signings in January.
“The president and the sporting director know what we need. I can only think about the pitch, as far as I am concerned there are no problems.
"Young players must improve, but we need experienced players close to them.
“Serie A is difficult, it takes time to settle in. We are not going to reach our target only because I arrived here, we all must do something more.”
