Brescia striker Ernesto Torregrossa has officially joined Sampdoria.
The 28-year-old scored five goals in 12 Serie B appearances in the first part of the 2020-21 campaign.
The Lega Serie A has confirmed his move to the Luigi Ferraris has now been completed, both clubs have yet to confirm the signing with an official announcement.
Torregrossa underwent medical examinations with Sampdoria yesterday and is expected to join the Blucerchiati on loan with option to buy.
According to Goal.com, he will sign a four- and half-year deal with Samp.
Torregrossa scored seven goals in 25 Serie A appearances in his first season in Italy's top flight in the 2019-20 campaign.
Sky Sport reports Samp could now make Antonino La Gumina's move from Empoli permanent and sell him on loan to Pescara.
