Manchester City have reportedly joined Juventus in the race for Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli, with a price-tag set at €35m.
The Milan youth academy product just turned 23 last week and already has six senior caps for Italy under his belt.
Juve have made no secret of their interest in Locatelli, who played 126 Serie A matches with six goals and nine assists.
Now the Daily Mail claim that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have also set their sights on the young midfielder.
“We have a great relationship with Sassuolo, the club is really ambitious. We'll see what happens,” said agent Stefano Castelnuovo.
“If a nice offer comes, it would be good for everyone to find an agreement. We'll be always grateful to Sassuolo.
“He will always be grateful to Milan too, but I think he is looking for a different experience, in Italy or abroad.
“He dreams of playing the Champions League, hopefully both him and Sassuolo will receive a gift in the summer.”
