It’s reported Theo Hernandez and Hakan Calhanoglu didn’t train yesterday because of ‘inconclusive’ COVID-19 tests, but they were given the all-clear.
There was some confusion when the star players were not even at the Milanello ground on Friday, leading to rumours they had become the latest players to test positive for COVID after Ante Rebic and Rade Krunic.
However, both were back in the squad and training regularly this morning ahead of Monday’s trip to Cagliari.
According to Il Giornale, Theo Hernandez and Calhanoglu had provided inconclusive test results, also known as a ‘false positive.’
They needed more in-depth tests to be sure before being allowed back into the training ground, but were given the all-clear for today’s session.
