Jose Maria Callejon confessed it’ll be ‘a strange experience’ to face Napoli as an opponent for Fiorentina tomorrow. ‘It is my home.’
It kicks off on Sunday at 11.30 GMT, click here for a match preview.
This is the first time that the Spaniard has been up against the Partenopei, having left as a free agent over the summer, but the name of the stadium has changed over the last few weeks.
“I had seven marvellous years at Napoli, the truth is that it is my home and the people there are fantastic, while I love my teammates very much too,” Callejon told the Fiorentina Instagram account.
“It’s going to be a strange experience, but I am happy to be back at that stadium, even if it’s no longer the San Paolo and now the Stadio Maradona.
“I’ll get to see some of my ex-teammates, who will understand that I am now defending the Fiorentina colours. I hope it’ll be a great game.”
