“It’s an important match for us, for them and for the whole season, so we worked hard and recovered after the 120 minutes in the Coppa Italia with Fiorentina,” Lautaro Martinez told Inter TV.

“We must turn that strain into determination and strength to bring the three points home today.”

It is 10 months since the last Derby d’Italia, which ended 2-0 for Juve on March 8, before the lockdown.

“We are certainly more solid now than we were then, as we’ve worked really hard to improve and must prove it today with another step forward.

“That’s the important thing, to go out there and do what we prepared in training.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku also go head-to-head for the Capocannoniere title.

“Ronaldo will certainly be an important player for Juve, but we’ve got our hitman too. We must be determined in defence so that we don’t allow any spaces, then we can hurt them when we attack.”
