Inter are expected to change their badge in the coming months, while Nerazzurri's CEO Alessandro Antonello denies the club will change name.
Reports in Italy suggest Inter will change their badge and name in March, but Antonello insisted the Nerazzurri will only change their crest, with the name that will remain “FC Internazionale Milano”.
“The club have been working on a marketing project based on Inter’s historical values with the target of approaching their fans and further strengthen the legacy with the city of Milan,” he told Ansa.
Meanwhile, some examples of Inter’s new crest start emerging on social media and Italian papers.
Two of them have been designed by Emiliano Sansolini and Alberto Mariani for Footyheadlines.
They are two simplified concept logos with a “modern yet classic appearance.”
It is still unknown what the new Inter crest will look like, but it is expected to be developed around the letters I and M - for Inter Milan - and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it can also be read “I’m” to strengthen the legacy between the club and their fans.
