According to Tuttosport, Juventus and Sassuolo directors will meet today to discuss Gianluca Scamacca’s possible move to Turin.
The Old Lady are reportedly on the lookout for a new centre forward to back-up Alvaro Morata, with the 22-year-old on top of their shopping list.
Juventus and Sassuolo directors are expected to meet today as the Bianconeri will play the Italian Supercup Final at the Mapei Stadium against Napoli this evening.
The Neroverdi are open to selling Scamacca on loan with an obligation to buy and hope to cash in €22-25m, while Juventus would prefer to sign the player on loan with an option to make the player’s move permanent.
Scamacca is currently on loan at Genoa and the Grifone would replace the Italian striker with Atalanta’s Sam Lammers, should Juve and Sassuolo reach an agreement.
Scamacca is not the only forward monitored by Juventus who have also set their sights on Napoli’s Fernando Llorente, Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud and Graziano Pellé who can move to Turin as a free agent.
