Soualiho Meite played his first Milan game against Cagliari on Monday. 'It’s the ‘strongest team I have played in’.
The midfielder moved from Torino on loan with an option to buy this month and was presented at a press conference today.
Meite knows he must impress at the Rossoneri to deserve a permanent move to San Siro and is ready to give his all to stay.
“Milan are the strongest team I have played in,” Meite said. “There are many champions, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic does incredible things at 40.
“I’m young and I have to do more and more.
“Milan are a great team and if I do well, I can change my career. These months will be very important.”
Meite revealed he realised he could move to Milan ahead of the match in Serie A between the Granata and the Rossoneri.
“It was before the League match. They called my agent and said we had to talk with [Paolo] Maldini. From that moment, I understood I could reach Milan.”
