Lazio defender Luiz Felipe will undergo surgery in Munich tomorrow and should be out until late March.
The Brazilian defender was replaced during the 3-0 win of the Derby della Capitale last Friday and has, according to Calciomercato.com, spent the last days assessing the swollen ankle in Germany.
The defender has decided to undergo surgery and will start the recovery immediately after the operation tomorrow.
And the report reveals he will stay in Munich for two weeks after the surgery, to start the rehabilitation programme there, and won’t be back in action until late March.
Luiz Felipe will thus miss out on the match against Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League, but will be back for the last two and a half months of the campaign.
