Fernando Llorente is expected to leave Napoli this month, with Udinese the favourites ahead of Benevento and Athletic Bilbao.
According to Sportitalia, Llorente is lined up as the replacement for Kevin Lasagna, who is heading towards Hellas Verona.
The other candidates for the veteran Spain international are Benevento and a return to his homeland for Athletic Bilbao.
Llorente had already been expected to move on by now, but his departure was postponed following Victor Osimhen’s shoulder injury and COVID diagnosis.
Once Osimhen is given the all-clear, then Llorente can make his exit from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The former Juventus centre-forward turns 36 next month and made five appearances for Napoli this season in all competition.
