Leipzig keen on landing Juve defender for free

According to several reports in Italy, RB Leipzig are keen on landing Juventus’ defender Radu Dragusin as a free agent in the summer.

The contract of the 18-year-old runs out in June and several clubs have set their sights on the Juventus defender.

According to Tuttosport, Leipzig are keen on landing Dragusin as a free agent at the end of the season, but the Serie A giants are in talks over a new contract.

The Old Lady are reportedly confident they will reach an agreement to extend the player’s stay at the club.

Dragusin began the season in the Under 23 squad, but Pirlo has promoted him to the senior team.

The Romanian defender made his Serie A debut against Genoa on December 13 and had played his first Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev only nine days before.

Sassuolo are also rumoured to be interested in the 19-year-old and have asked Juventus to include him in a potential deal for Gianluca Scamacca.
