The Friulani played their second consecutive draw, having held Atalanta to a 1-1 result in Wednesday’s rescheduled Week 10 fixture.
“The lads did really well in both matches, as we were under pressure yes, but didn’t stop playing our football,” Gotti told Sky Sport Italia.

The coach hauled midfielder Tolgay Arslan off after just 33 minutes.
“Arslan was doing well, but he was already on a yellow card and had risked a tackle that could’ve been a second booking, so I didn’t want to risk going down to 10 men so early in a big game.”
Despite some strong performances against the big clubs, Gotti continues to deal with on-going reports he could be fired.
“I struggle to know what to say when asked about these things. It’s obvious any coach whose team isn’t high up the table will be under pressure. It’s a law of football and I accept it.”
