Wojciech Szczęsny joked about his teammate Juan Cuadrado with Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski: ‘He kept both of us on our toes today.’
The Juventus goalkeeper kept the second clean sheet in Serie A this season in the Old Lady’s 2-0 win over Bologna on Sunday.
He needed a sensational reaction save on a diving header from six yards in the second half. Bizarrely, it was from his teammate Juan Cuadrado, who was about to score a remarkable own goal.
“Always nice to see a fellow Pole performing well,” Szczesny wrote on Instagram posting a picture with his compatriot and Bologna goalkeeper Skorupski.
“Cuadrado kept both of us on our toes today,” he added.
The Colombian winger thanked his teammate in one of his Instagram stories after the match.
"Great save Tek, thank you", the former Chelsea winger wrote.
Juventus are now seven points off table leaders Milan with one game in hand.
