Report: Colombo to Cremonese

Cremonese have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Lorenzo Colombo on loan from Milan.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports sporting director Ariedo Braida beat the competition from Brescia and other Serie B teams in the fight for Colombo’s services.

The young Milan striker was wanted by a host of teams in the second tier, but the report claims Cremonese have reached an agreement with Milan and the player.

The 18-year-old has played four Serie A games this term, three in the Europa League and two in the preliminary rounds of the European competition.

He scored his first goal for the Rossoneri in a 3-2 win over Bodo/Glimt on November 24 and helped the Diavolo on their way to secure a place in the group stages this term.
