Weston McKennie is expected to complete a permanent €18.5m move to Juventus in the summer with the Old Lady who have an obligation to buy the player if they qualify for the Champions League.
The 22-year-old joined the Bianconeri from Schalke 04 in a €4.5 loan deal last summer.
The agreement came with an option to make the player’s move permanent for €18.5m.
According to Sky Sport, Juventus will have an obligation to buy the player permanently if the finish top four this season.
Juventus, however, are open to signing McKennie regardless from the possible obligation to buy.
The final fee for McKennie’s Juventus transfer could reach €30m with add-ons.
The former Schalke 04 has four goals in 21 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
