Cagliari are negotiating with Spezia, hoping to terminate Alessandro Deiola’s loan deal with an option to buy and bring the 25-year-old back to Sardinia.
Deiola moved to Spezia last summer and has played 12 games in Serie A, but he could return to the Casteddu this winter.
The midfielder has a deal with Cagliari until June 2022, but Spezia have an option to sign the player on a permanent deal in June.
Tuttomercatoweb reports the two clubs are discussing his return to Sardinia, where he would be an alternative to Alfred Duncan and Radja Nainggolan, as requested by coach Eusebio Di Francesco.
Cagliari have been linked with Fiorentina midfielder Erick Pulgar too, but the Rossonblu are not able to reach an agreement with the Viola.
