According to Tuttosport, Milan are considering signing Douglas Costa in January as Bayern Munich are not going to make his move from Juventus permanent.
The Brazilian returned to Bayern last summer on a dry loan deal, but according to the Turin-based paper the Germans have already informed Juventus they are not willing to sign the player permanently at the end of the current campaign.
Therefore, Milan have asked information about the 30-year-old who has started just six games this season, playing 654 minutes across all competitions.
The Rossoneri are reportedly interested in signing Douglas Costa, but his €6m-a-year salary could be an obstacle.
According to the report, the Diavoli remain interested in Florian Thauvin too, with the Marseille winger who could move to the San Siro as a free agent at the end of the season.
Milan have already signed Mario Mandzukic, Soualiho Meïté and Fikayo Tomori in January, but their winter transfer window is apparently not over yet.
