According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sampdoria midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard is subject to interest from ‘half of the Premier League.’
The 20-year-old has already delivered four assists in Serie A so far this season. The last one came on Sunday when he set up Keita Balde for the Blucerchiati’s equalised in Benevento.
The Dane can play in different roles, from centre midfielder to left winger and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport “half of the Premier League clubs” have set their sights on him.
Damsgaard joined Sampdoria from Nordjelland in a €6m deal back in September and the paper claims his value has now tripled.
Damsgaard made his senior Denmark debut in November 2020 and has two goals and four assists in 20 Serie A appearances so far this season.
