Davide Ballardini warns Genoa about Torino and insists his players won't be helped despite knowing Davide Nicola well.
The Grifone managed 17 points in 8 games with Ballardini in the dug-out and face Torino away tomorrow.
“It’s a game we must face as we’ve always done so far,” Ballardini told Genoa Channel.
“With the qualities, the seriousness, the human and technical values that the Genoa have shown since we arrived.
“The players are training well and they demand a lot from themselves, it’s a satisfaction for me,” he added.
“Torino are a strong team, they were strong even before Nicola arrived. They have more consistency now.”
Nicola was the Genoa coach last season, but Ballardini thinks this is not going to help his side.
“He has different players now, I don’t think this is going to have an impact on tomorrow’s match.”
