Safe stolen in Ancelotti burglary

There are reports Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti’s home was burgled by masked men, but his daughter Katia frightened them off.

The incident is said to have occurred at Ancelotti’s house in Blundellsands in Merseyside at 18.30 GMT on Friday evening.

Merseyside Police confirm “a safe was stolen in a burglary in Crosby on Friday evening (12 February). We were called at 6.35pm to a report two males had entered a property on Hall Road East at around 6.30pm.

“The offenders were described as wearing black waterproof clothing, possibly with white writing on, and black balaclavas. The occupants of the house were unharmed.”

The Liverpool Echo reports Ancelotti was not present during the break-in, but that his daughter frightened the burglars off.
