According to Sky Sport Italia, staff with shovels have been working for at least two hours to clear the field at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
There was already a snowstorm during last night’s 1-1 draw between Bologna and Benevento at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
It continued to fall overnight in Northern Italy and that has made the situation in Turin somewhat tricky.
However, the stadium staff are confident they will have the pitch in good condition for kick-off.
The snow is moving down into more central areas of the country today and tomorrow.
