This is the first Serie A meeting between the clubs, because the October Turin match was postponed due to COVID cases and is yet to be rescheduled.
At the time, Napoli were flying high, but now the Bianconeri have improved their form and the Partenopei are sliding.
“We’re midway through the season, we played some more games together and therefore improved. It’s natural. We are always looking to do better and keep getting stronger.”
Leonardo Bonucci is not 100 per cent fit, so De Ligt starts alongside veteran Chiellini, making his 400th Serie A appearance.
“I think we do feel the experience of Chiellini, he’s really determined on the pitch too. We’re also as a team keeping tight and press the ball better, which is important for us.”
