Inter captain Samir Handanovic will make his 500th Serie A appearance this evening, achieved playing for the Nerazzurri, Udinese, Treviso and Lazio.
He’ll take to the field at San Siro against Lazio at 19.45 GMT.
Handanovic so far has 499 games under his belt in the Italian top flight, having made his debut during Udinese’s 1-1 home draw with Sampdoria on May 15, 2005.
The Slovenia international first came to Italy for Udinese in 2004-05 and had three Serie A games while on loan at Treviso in 2005-06.
Few remember, but he was also on loan at Lazio for six months that campaign and made just one appearance for the Biancocelesti.
That was a 1-0 win over Parma on May 14, 2006.
