But the coach has not managed to turn things around for the Gialloblu, who suffered another defeat against Hellas Verona on Monday night.

D’Aversa, who first took over in December 2016 and lifted Parma from Serie C to the top tier, left the club last summer due to different views on how to progress.

But he returned this winter to help steady the ship and the Ducali have signed players like Graziano Pellè and Joshua Zirkzee to help them in the relegation battle.

Tuttomercatoweb reports the patron is ‘very disappointed and angry’ after the recent performances and will be connected with the directors at Parma over video.

Alessandro Lucarelli and Marcello Carli are reportedly present to discuss D’Aversa’s position and a final decision will be made in the next few hours.
