Torino striker Antonio Sanabria reveals on social media that he has tested negative for COVID-19 and can finally begin his Granata career.
The forward arrived during the final days of the January transfer window from Real Betis.
However, he tested positive for COVID and was never able to train with his new teammates.
Sanabria confirmed in a message on Instagram that he has now recovered and been given the all-clear, three weeks after contracting the virus.
He must have a full medical with the Lega Serie A before he is allowed to resume training with Torino.
Therefore, it’s unlikely Sanabria will be available for tomorrow’s Serie A match against Cagliari.
It is at least some good news after Torino revealed another two players tested positive for COVID, without naming them.
