Koulibaly back, Atalanta wait on Maehle

Atalanta miss Hans Hateboer and Joakim Maehle is at risk, but injury-hit Napoli get Kalidou Koulibaly back in Bergamo.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini confirmed in today’s press conference that Hateboer has his foot and ankle immobilised, so probably won’t be able to play for several more weeks.

The only other potential absentee tomorrow is Maehle, although he is in the squad named by Atalanta this evening.

Napoli get Koulibaly back after he recovered from COVID, but the injury list at Napoli remains remarkably extensive.

Gennaro Gattuso had only 12 senior outfield players for Thursday’s 2-0 Europa League defeat away to Granada and the situation has barely improved.

Dries Mertens, Hirving Lozano, Andrea Petagna, Diego Demme, Elseid Hysaj, Kostas Manolas and David Ospina are still out of action.
