The Partenopei updated the injury situation after the 4-2 defeat at the Gewiss Stadium and revealed Mertens, who returned from therapy in Belgium, could return to training this week.
“Mertens carried out the isokinetic test and personalised work on the pitch and in the gym,” the club wrote in a statement.
“Dries will consider returning to the group in the coming days.”
But the statement confirmed Elseijd Hysaj, David Ospina, Diego Demme and Andrea Petagna are still working separately.
“Hysaj, Ospina and Demme carried out personalised work on the pitch,” the club wrote.
“Petagna had therapies and personalised training in the gym. Therapies for Lozano."
