Agent Fali Ramadani has formally denied reports he had a meeting with Maurizio Sarri and Fiorentina directors.
The Corriere Fiorentino newspaper claimed that Sarri met with Viola directors in Castelfranco Piandisco, a village near to Florence.
Sarri grew up in Tuscany and has therefore long been linked with the Fiorentina job.

“There were no meetings between Sarri and Fiorentina, please write that. Thank you,” was the message sent by Sarri’s agent, Fali Ramadani, to Sky Sport Italia.
Cesare Prandelli was brought in to replace Beppe Iachini in November and the team is still struggling in 14th place.
President Rocco Commisso is looking to alternatives for next season.
