Milan-Man Utd: how the Rossoneri reacted to Europa League draw

According to Sky Sport Italia, some Milan players reacted with a sarcastic smile after knowing they had picked up Manchester United in the Europa League round of 16.

The Rossoneri will face Manchester United for the first time in 11 years in the last 16 stage of the Europa League in March.

According to Sky Sport, some Milan players welcomed the news with frustration.

The whole team followed the draw live on TV from Milanello and some Rossoneri smiled sarcastically after knowing their next opponent.

Milan have lost five of their 12 games in 2021 and Sky Sport Italia highlights they are not at their form's peak.

They suffered a 3-0 defeat in the Milan derby last week.

Nevertheless, other team members have reportedly said that the games against the Red Devils are excellent opportunities to prove they can react and are ready to improve.

According to the report, Milan feel ready to face Manchester United and want to prove they can compete with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

The Red Devils host Milan at the Old Trafford on March 11, with the reverse fixture scheduled on March 18 at the San Siro.
