Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi vows to respond after ‘a bad defeat’ to Bayern Munich and to ‘prepare well’ ahead of the match against Bologna tomorrow.

Lazio aim to bounce back from the 4-1 defeat in the Champions League and Inzaghi wants to bounce back immediately against Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men.

“We come from a bad defeat, it’s our duty to dispose of what happened on Tuesday,” Inzaghi said at a press conference.

“We must transform it into a positive charge for tomorrow. It will be very difficult against Bologna.

“We will have to approach the match in the best possible way.”

Inzaghi said his players are tired from the effort in the Champions League and will assess his men ahead of tomorrow’s League game.

“We will have to see how today’s training goes,” he added. “We have [Gonzalo] Escalante disqualified, in addition to the two injured, Luiz Felipe and [Stefan] Radu.

“We made an important physical and mental effort in the Champions League.”

But the coach stressed he knows what awaits them against Bologna.

“We know them, they have an excellent squad,” he said. “I’m pleased to see Sinisa again, he’s a friend and a very good coach.

“He will have prepared perfectly for the match, we must prepare well too."
