Fikayo Tomori is expected to replace Alessio Romagnoli in the Milan defence against Roma, while Federico Fazio could start his second Serie A game in a row for the Giallorossi.
The Argentinean defender has been left out of Roma’s UEFA list for the second part of the campaign and started his first Serie A game against Benevento last weekend.
Although Marsh Kumbulla returns from an injury, the former Hellas Verona is not likely to be included in Paulo Fonseca’s XI.
Therefore, Fazio will again start at the back with Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante.
Borja Mayoral will replace the injured Edin Dzeko.
Mario Mandzukic and Ismael Bennacer are out of action for Milan.
Sandro Tonali is expected to replace the Algeria international. Ante Rebic is the favourite to start on the left flank, while Romagnoli could be rested, paving the way for Tomori.
Roma-Milan, probable line-ups:
Roma (probable): Pau Lopez; Mancini, Cristante, Fazio; Karsdorp, Veretout, Villar, Spinazzola; Lo. Pellegrini, Mkhitaryan; Borja Mayoral.
Milan (probable): G. Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
